Dear Reader,

Tired of all the Covid-19 related news yet? Aren't we all? But now that restrictions are lifted in more and more places, in cybersecurity we should always stay alert. And if there is one thing you can be sure of, it's the fact that cybercriminals will continue to exploit the current crisis. In fact, those criminals will bet on people letting their guard down. It's important now to be alert of cybercriminals leveraging Covid-19!

It's been a while since our last newsletter, which is why this edition focuses on some specials which we featured during the past weeks.

Enjoy reading - and stay healthy!

Granted, everywhere you go you will read something about Covid-19. Bus as mentioned above, that makes it more important to stay alert. This is why we gathered all our crisis-related content in one place.

Covid-19, remote work and cybercrime on the rise at Cybersecurity Magazine.

One of the things we proud ourselves in are the interviews we do with cybersecurity leaders from companies, the research community and other institutions. And now we've taken this one step further with our new YouTube Channel! More importantly, though, we had quite a few interesting conversations, check them out:

Interviews on Cybersecurity Magazine

Two significant events happened in the last few weeks which have a big impact on cybersecurity.

First, there was world password day. But aren't passwords a thing of the past? What new technology is there to replace passwords one day? We focused on this questions in our speical:

World Password Day Special

Another event which has impacted cybersecurity two years ago was the General Data Protection Regulation, which became effective on May 25th 2018. While obviously focusing on privacy, some of the regulations directly affect cybersecurity, which is why we dedicated another special to the topic.

GDPR: 2nd anniversary special

Last, but not least: true to our heritage, we will increasingly publish scientifc papers here at Cybersecurity Magazine. For starters, we're happy to feature the latest and special edition of the Journal of ICT standardization, which deals with AI and Big Data. Read the abstracts from the journal here:

If you have an abstract from a journal or a paper you would like to see published, let us know - we can even provide a DOI.
